We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2022, Paul O. Rawson (Newtown, Connecticut), born in Worcester, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Rawson and Grace Rawson; his wife Lois Covell of North Grosvenordale, CT.; his children, Daniel Rawson (JoAnn) and Nancy Rawson (Jim Conmy); his grandchildren, Erica Lind and Richard Lind (Liz); his great grandchildren, Richie and Emilia; his nieces, Susan Keach Sweeney, Lois Cohen and Joan Arsenault; his nephew Stanley Jordan Keach; and his caregiver Robert Wright. He was also cherished by family, friends and relatives.

As Covid restricted visits, he created hundreds of these postcards to stay connected with his church family, friends and relatives.

“To Nancy and Daniel and family. I just heard of the passing of Paul Rawson, who was a neighbor (and business partner at one time at PDS) of my father Sid Bailey. They both got their start at GE. and furthered their inventions at Van Dykes. Also, my mother Ellen Bailey was very fond of her friend Lois, your mother. My dad was 98 years plus when he passed in 2017, and he always said he had a goal of living to 100, so I am glad his friend Paul did just that ! Joyce Bailey Yeomans, NC”
