We bid farewell to Mary Summo (Newtown, Connecticut), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Sorrentino and Rose Sorrentino (Russo) of Mary; her husband Dr. Anthony J Summo; her children, Michael Summo, Joseph Summo, Teresa Bellofatto and Robert Summo; and her grandson Nicholas Summo.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Summo (Barbara) and Mary Maida (David Felten); her in-laws, Linda Summo, Joan Summo and Lou Bellofatto; her grandchildren, Anthony Summo, Matthew Maida, Jessica Kingsbury (Eric), Elizabeth Summo, Katie Kavouris (John), Michael J Summo, Christian and Mark Bellofatto; her great grandchildren, Jack, Leo, Finn, Beau Bellofatto, Jacob and Emily Kingsbury; her brother Michael Sorrentino (Val); and her nieces and nephews, Jeanne Sorrentino, Michael Sorrentino (Darci), Laura (Skip Rossini), Danny Sorrentino (Melissa), Gloria Summo and Steven Summo (Damaris). She is also survived by cousins, extended family.
