It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Barbara Jacob in Newtown, Connecticut, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Stefanik and Anna Stefanik; her husband Tom Jacob; her sister Sandy Wasik of Ansonia; her children, Patricia Gibson of Metuchen, Kathy Tredennick of Newtown, Thomas Jacob Jr. of St. Augustine and Robert Jacob of Summerfield; her grandchildren, Megan, Shannon, Daniel, Christopher and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Grayson and Melia. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
