Long of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Bronx, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard J. Long and Catherine Long (Hetherson); his siblings, Judy O'Brien, MaryLou Parkhurst, Joseph and Nicolas; and his grandmother Mary Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Scott Long (Cheryl), Tracy Giroux (Ronald) and Rob Long (Michelle); his grandchildren, Megan Clavie-Parker, Jessica Manning, Austin Giroux, Joshua Giroux, Eric Long and Heather Long; his great grandchild Mason Manning; his brother David Long; and his cousins, Lorraine Konzelmann and Nancy Long. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
