It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Soter of Newtown, Connecticut, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Soter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur K. Soter; her parents, Nicholas Seferi and Clanthi Seferi; and her son Anthony Soter. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Soter (Jennifer) of Groveland, MA and Karen Maietto (Frank "Sid") of Snohomish, WA; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Jamie, Nicholas and Melanie; and her siblings, Florence Evanko, Gloria Rubis of Monroe, Norman Seferi (Helen) of Newtown and Spiro Seferi (Karen) of Trumbull. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church.
