With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gour Chandra Mitra of Newtown, Connecticut, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Krishna Chandra and Provabati Mitra; his wife Basanti; his daughter Anáil Moon Devī; his son-in-law Sanjoy Basu; his son Joydev; his daughter-in-law Michelle Jeovanny Lopez; and his grandchildren, Rajeshri, RajKieran, Radhika, Rishav Basu, Vishal and Zella Mitra.
