He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Bowlby (Karl); his parents, Charles Edward and Carrie Bowlby (Forespring); his son Charles F. Bowlby; and his siblings, Jay Bowlby, Willard F. Bowlby and Betty Hostetler.
He is survived by: his children, Donald F. Bowlby (Susan) of West Chester, PA and Doris E. Bowlby Panzica (James Panzica); his grandsons, Donald F. Bowlby, Jr. (Jill) of Middletown, DE, Charles F. Bowlby, Jr. of New Haven, CT and Jeffrey D. Bowlby (Nicole) of Phoenixville, PA; and his great grandchildren, Danielle, Timothy, Adam, Emily, Jonathan, Lauren and Christopher.
