She was predeceased by: her husband Guy Gibson Gardiner; her parents, Franklin Carr and Dorothy Carr (Mercer); her son Bruce F. Gardiner; her brother Robert F. Carr; and her sister-in-law Barbara Carr.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela G. Mickewich (Robert) of Newtown; her brother David Stowell Carr of The Villages, FL; her daughter-in-law Diane Giardina of New Fairfield; and her granddaughter Katherine Ashley Mickewich.
Mrs. Gardiner's family has requested that contributions be made, in lieu of flowers, in memory of her son Bruce to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Donor Services P.O. Box 9808 Washington, DC 20090-8018.
