He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herring and Constance Doepler Herring. He is survived by: his wife Deanne Wilcome Herring; his son Keir Hansen (Julie) of Simsbury, CT; his grandson Jakob; his son Joseph Hansen of Whitefield; his grandchildren, Marco, Ash, Jameson, Jackson and David Rosvally (Carrie) of Sandy Hook, CT; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Kaelyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Honan Funeral Home (58 Main St, Newtown, CT 06470). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Rose of Lima Church (46 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT 06470). A reception will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (46 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT 06470).
