It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Teresa Mary Henry of Newington, Connecticut, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Donald P. Henry and Joseph P. Henry; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Scopellite and Elizabeth Henry. She is survived by: her sisters, Villanova and Math; and her friend Sister Thaddeus Rajca. She is also survived by her Sisters, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Chapel (27 Park Rd, West Hartford, CT 06119). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.

“I taught with Sister Teresa for many years at Saint Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT. I admired the control she had of her math classes, allowing her to gain the full attention of her students, who could not help learning the subject matter. She and I had a friendly relationship, although she was the only one of my colleagues to call me by my formal first name: 'James.' I was sorry when Sr. Teresa left SJHS and sorry I was not there (having retired) when she returned. Sincerely, Jim Izzo”
