She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Richards and Louise Smith (Bleser); her husband Robert Edward Johnson; her son John Tapley Combes of California; and her sister Sally Smith of East Hampton.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Combes of Haddam, Suzanne Combes Winslow (Greg) of New Hampshire and Dianne Combes Agarwal (Rajan) of California; her siblings, John Smith (Marilyn) of Maine, David Smith (Karen) of Minnesota and Elizabeth Treadway of East Hampton; her grandchildren, Evan, Alyssa Agarwal, Olivia Winslow Rodriguez (Elias), Josiah Winslow (Paola), Lysandra Winslow Fernandez (Chris), Caleb, Samuel and Ruth Winslow; her great grandchildren, Stephen and Ethan Winslow; and her niece Paige Quinn. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
