It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Seymour Menchel of Newington, Connecticut, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Menchel and Ray Menchel; and his siblings, Bernard Menschell, Eleanor Jaffe, Sylvia Slotkin, Martin Slotkin and Marilyn Sacher.
He is survived by: his friend Seymour; his wife Fay Menchel; his daughter Jennifer (Patrick Babcock) of Sturbridge, MA; and his grandsons, Aidan, Connor and Cian Babcock. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
Memorial donations can be made to any local dog rescue or shelter in need in honor of Sy and his love for dogs.
