With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose C. Burns of Newington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Coates and Elsie Coates; her husband Charles C. Burns (Bob); her son Robert C. Burns; her brothers, James Coates and William Coates; and her son-in-law Leslie F. Flanders.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen B. Flanders of Vernon and Charles R. Burns (Bob) of Ware, MA; her grandchildren, Anne-Marie Perkins (Dan) of Tolland, Chet Koelsch (Vivian) of Tolland, Nick Burns (Melissa Hartman) of Remsen, NY, Ben Burns (Jesse) of Kirkland, WA, Meghan Burns of Remsen, NY and Jodi Fore (Shane) of Simsbury; her great grandchildren, Sean Perkins, Bryce Koelsch, Trevor Koelsch, Alyssa Perkins, Devon Koelsch, Mackenzie Beeman, Oliver Burns and Emalyn Burns; and her great great grandchildren, Brayden Perkins, Noah Beeman, Oliver Perkins and Molina Beeman.
