Richard Groves Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Groves (Newington, Connecticut), who passed away on March 2, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Groves and Evelyn Groves (Knowles); and his brothers, Laurence, John and Stephen.
He is survived by: his brother Naval Aviator; his wife Shirley Bond Groves; his children, Susan Watt (David), John (Lori) and Brian; his grandchildren, Melanie Mills Karadeniz and Stephen Mills, Jr.; his niece Mariam Groves Landry; and his nephew Stephen W. Groves II.
