It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Gomes (Newington, Connecticut), born in Middleboro, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 7, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gomes and Mary Gomes; and his siblings, Marilyn A. Willis, Doris Gomes and Billy Gomes.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Gomes (Joane Gomes) and Christopher Gomes; his grandsons, Williams Gomes and Benjamin Gomes; his siblings, Michael Gomes, Patricia Montero and Mary Martin (Dena); and his half-siblings, Susan Gomes, Kenneth Gomes and Billy Gomes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Foundation.
