Poitras (Newington, Connecticut), born in Van Buren, Maine, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Poitras (Dube); his children, Gail Lagana (Joe) of Newington, Rayna Salemme (Lou) of Shelton, Gary Poitras (Caron) of Portland, Bob Poitras (Kathleen) of Rock Hill, NY and Sandy Botet (Al) of Old Saybrook; his grandchildren, Michael Lagana, Lauren Wabble (Matt), Ryan Lagana (Monica), Louis, Nick, Jake Salemme, Jenna Gianni (Lorenzo), Danielle DeLucco, Matt Poitras, Alex, Christopher Poitras, Olivia and Adi Botet; his great grandchildren, Trevor Reilly, Jaxson, Hudson Wabble, Emily, Bia, Madison Lagana, Nico, Luca Gianni and Fiona DeLucco; and his siblings, Marcy LaChance and Gene Poitras of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mapleview Manor, 856 Maple Street Rocky Hill, CT 06067, care of the recreation department to help provide activities and events for the residents.
