He is survived by: his wife Corine Childs (Glasper); and his children, Mitchell "Mike" Childs, Jr. (Darlene), Gary Childs, Patricia Jackson (Earle Jackson Sr.), Gloria Wanza, Beverly Jones (Wanza), Karen Wanza and Alesia Wellington (Garfield). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
