It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Taber of Newington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Erminia Bisaccia (Lena) and Ralph Bisaccia; her husband Val Taber; her son Michael Taber; and her brother Anthony Bisaccia (Carole).

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Steven, Rose, Marisa, Joey of Newington, Greg, Patty, Benjamin and Madison of Glastonbury; and her sister Lillian Couto (Bisaccia) of Newington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and extended family.

At that time, I was the only African American young lady employed in the entire company. Ms. Janet took me under her wings and made me feel welcomed and loved.
