It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Ruth Roy (Newington, Connecticut), born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 72, on August 5, 2020. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Raymond (Mary Roy), Russell (Irene Roy), Leonard (Carolyn Roy) and Norman Roy. She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth and Bachelor of Arts Degree; her sister-in-law Gloria Roy; her nephew Kenneth; her niece-in-law Marisa Roy; and her nieces and nephews, Thomas, Mark, Robin Roy, Steven Hudak, Karen Cushman, Deborah McAloney, Susan Roy and Susan Waide.
Due to the current COVID-19 health conditions and restrictions, a private graveside service for family and Sisters will take place Monday morning at the Sisters of St. Joseph Cemetery in West Hartford.
