With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Anthony Genova Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony Genova of Waterbury, CT and Catherine Fratianni (Italy); his daughter Elizabeth Ann Granger (Genova); his wife Patricia Mary Corraro of Bridgeport, CT; his brother-in-law Louis Ricci; and his close friend Phyllis Saccoccia.
He is survived by: his daughter Joanne Patricia Carman (Genova); his son-in-law Richard Carman of Charlotte, NC; his sister Eleanor Ricci of Miami, FL; his sister-in-law Marilyn Earle of Milford, CT; and his nieces and nephews, Erick, Brendon and Breanna. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
