With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jopseph Anthony Genova Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony Genova of Waterbury, CT and Catherine Fratianni (Italy); his wife Patricia; his daughter Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Louis Ricci; and his close friend Phyllis Saccoccia.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Patricia Mary Corraro of Bridgeport, CT; his daughter Joanne; his son-in-law Richard Carman of Charlotte, NC; his sister Eleanor Ricci of Miami, FL; his sister-in-law Marilyn Earle of Milford, CT; his nieces and nephews, Erick, Brendon and Breanna; and also, Elizabeth Ann Granger (Genova) and Joanne Patricia Carman (Genova). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
