It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. McKaig Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKaig and Susan McKaig (Glossup). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn A. McKaig (Grazulwich); his children, Heather Sobotka (Stanley) of Wethersfield, Christopher McKaig of Farmington, Michael McKaig of Newington and Stephen McKaig; and his grandchildren, Madelyn, Nicholas Sobotka, Jesse and Sean McKaig.
