It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Ball of Newington, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ball and Edith Ball (Dodsworth); his daughter Linda LaPointe; and his siblings, William Ball and Emily Thatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ball (Cashman); his children, Catherine Donaghy (Ray), Claire Follo (Brian) and John Ball (Nicole); his grandchildren, Jessica Follo, Hayden, Kellen Ball, Joshua Colombo, Caroline DeLoach and Alexis Tolan; his great grandchild Lexx DeLoach; his sister Mary Ball; and his sister-in-law Helen Ball. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He generously donated his time to many charities including Birthright.
