He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Q. Shea; his parents, Daniel Shea and Bridget Shea (McDonald); his brother Daniel Shea; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Foss, Frances Shea and James Quigley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah S. Justo (Daniel D.) of Glastonbury and Maureen S. Lawrence (Robert A. Jr.) of Wethersfield; his grandchildren, Allison, Thomas, Sean and Colin; his brother Bernard Shea of Avon; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Quigley of Farmington, Dolores Shea of Avon and Philip Foss of Southington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
