He was predeceased by: his parents, Jozef Kurys and Stefania Kurys (Oczkowski); his brother Kazik Kurys; and his daughter-in-law Debra Ann Kurys. He is survived by: his spouse Czeslawa Kurys (Dudzik); his son Stan Kurys (Darcy) of Portland; his siblings, Wladyslaw (Krystyna) of Newington, Krystyna Partyka (Zdislaw) of New Britain, Anna Bok of Poland and Janina Chudzik (Stan) of Poland; his sister-in-law Stella Kurys of Newington; and his grandchildren, Sophia Kurys and Michael Kurys (Jessica). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
