He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodule Roy and Delima Roy (Bosse); his granddaughter Jessica Oakes; and his son-in-law William Oakes. He is survived by: his wife Adrienne Roy (Couturier); his children, Daniel (Carol Roy) of Farmington, Lise Oakes of Newington and Joanne (Timothy McIntosh) of Enfield; his grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob Ramos), Justin (Ashley Roy), Meghan (Joshua Erkson), Jenna Roy, Ryan McIntosh and Emily McIntosh (Damon Patnoe); his great grandchildren, Chace, Elena, Aureliana, Brayden, Peyton, Isla and Margo; and his brother Norman Roy of New Brunswick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the West Meadow Cemetery Chapel (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
