With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Guido A. Giantonio Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Guido left this world on April 20, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Giantonio (Duran) of Guido's Supermarkets; his parents, Guido A. Giantonio, Sr. and Lena Giantonio (Palumbo); his brother William Giantonio; and his grandson K. G. Anthony Giantonio.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Deborah), Bruce, Lawrence "Larry" (Devi) and Guy (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Renee, Carl, Kelsea, Mekaela and Brigett; and his sister Eleanor Bartlett (Loretta Giantonio).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (110 Main St, Farmington, CT 06034). The military honors will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (1309 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
