It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George William Whidtfeldt Jr. of Newington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Whidtfeldt and Anna May Whidtfeldt (Bedford); and his son Mark Whidtfeldt. He is survived by: his friends, Joe Middleton, Don Gates and Jamie May; his son Troy Whidtfeldt; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Nicole, Joshua, Tyler and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Alainia and Lily; his sister Joan; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Ackerman.

Due to COVID concerns a celebration of George's life will be held when it is safe to do so.
