It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis C. Wilson of Newington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, James and William; his siblings-in-law, Max, Dorothy and Ella; and his nephews, Gary and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Elfriede Wilson (Fenner); his children, Mark (Candace), Terri (John), Rebecca (Stephen) and Matt (Enna); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Jon), Chelsea, Liana (Emilio), Laika, Reagan, Victoria (Luis) and Valentina; his great grandchildren, Jack and Ryan; his sister-in-law Irma Fenner; his nephew Bill Wilson (Jane); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Haley, Billy and Dylan; his nieces, Ruth Wilson and Gail Fissette (Bill); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aimee, Tracy and Bethany; his sister-in-law Claire Fenner; and also, John, Paul and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, or to Lucy Robbins Welles Library (100 Garfield St., Newington, CT 06111), where Frank was a frequent and well-known visitor for many years.
