It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances (Lazaris) Veleas (Newington, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 5, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Veleas; her sister Catherine Danias; and also Leo Civitillo. She is survived by: her sons, Leo Veleas (Roberta), Dennis Veleas and Anthony Veleas; her grandchildren, Peter Veleas (Lisa), Leah O'Leary (Michael) and Christa Civitillo; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Joshua, Daniel, Drew, Devon, Alyssa, Lauren, Rachel and Leah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Duke and John Foundation, 718 W. Main St., Northville, MI 48167 which is a charity that was special to Frances.
