She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacinto Sousa and Isabel Sousa; her brothers, Tony, Jacinto and Manuel Sousa; and her siblings-in-law, Jose Resendes and Isabel Sousa.

She is survived by: her niece Maria Ines Sousa of Newington; and her sisters-in-law, Fatima and Teresa Sousa.
