(Hopkins) Chaponis of Newington, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delia Hopkins (Hunt) and Michael Hopkins; and her siblings, Mary Flannery, Nancy Forgione, Beatrice Radigan, Terry Shea, Rose Sarnowski, Norene Grogan, Michael Hopkins, Bernard Hopkins, Peter Hopkins and James Hopkins.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Susan Chaponis (Tom Howell) of West Hartford, Karen L. Nappo (Bill) of Avon, Maryann Fox (Jeff) of West Hartford, Daniel J. Chaponis of Newington and John J. Chaponis of Colchester; her grandchildren, Summer R. Chaponis of Woodstock, Riley J. Fox and Aidan T. Fox of West Hartford; her close friend Robert Sheltz; and her niece Barbara Pandolfi.
