She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Loretta Barker (Gagnon) and Francis Barker; her husband Peter; her children, Debby Lyons (Donald) and Donald Olson (Dorothy); her stepchildren, Scott Michaud, Karin Adams (Michaud) and James Michaud; her grandchildren, Jessica Lyons, Jacob Lyons, Anna Lyons, Connor Olson, Tyler Olson, Meghan Michaud, Mitchell Michaud, Paige Michaud, Mike Adams, Jr., Kyle Adams and Derick Michaud; and her siblings, Larry Barker of Berlin, CT, Jerry Barker of Bristol, CT, Paula Barker of West Hartford, CT., David Barker and Theda Gagnon. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
She adored knitting hats and mittens, which she donated to local charity organizations and hospitals, particularly for newborn babies.
