He was predeceased by: his son Bryan L. Ahern; his brothers, James F. and Richard L. Ahern; his siblings-in-law, Bernie Sharasheff and Dedra Ahern; and his nephew Philip Haun.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ahern (Sharasheff); his children, Donald and Tara A. Caetano (Marcelo); his granddaughters, Penelope Ahern, Brynn, Camryn and Alexandra Caetano; his mother-in-law Phyllis Sharasheff; and his sisters-in-law, Shari Sharasheff, Darci Haun and Patti Sharasheff.
