He is survived by: his wife Joan Bryck (Backiel); his sons, Kevin (Elizabeth) of Arlington and Matthew (Elizabeth) of Durham, CT; his grandchildren, Lily, Colton, Alessia and Waylon; and his siblings, Marion (Bill), Arlene (Skip), Lorraine (Tom), Patty (Wes), Sandra and Ed (Sally).
