It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dana Lee Vieira of Newington, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Albert A. Vieira. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Vieira (Smith); his wife Shauniqua Vieira (Passe); his daughters, Autumn L. Vieira and Shayna L. Stetford; his son-in-law Joshua C. Parmlee; his granddaughter Asha M. Parmlee; his siblings, Deborah Vieira of Newington and Albert Vieira Jr.; his sister-in-law Kelley Vieira; and his niece Amber Shumate (Tyrus Williams). He is also survived by father figure for not only his children, but also to children.

“My name is Jimmy (Mase) Mason, today I learned of the passing of my childhood friend and was saddened by the news. As I was reading through the obituary, it dawned on me that Dana was all of this and more. Especially when it came to athletics - he was a natural! I am surprised he didn't make it to the pros, because he was a warrior. I remember back in the day, Dana would have the latest and greatest sports outfits with matching shoes pants and shirt, not to mention glasses. May God bless Dana!”
