She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvia M. DiPietro and Charles Casalengo; her daughter Rachael Symonaitis Hoops of Berlin; her former husband Charles Charamut; and her husband Gerald Symonaitis.

She is survived by: her children, William Charamut (Judy) of Wethersfield, Rebecca Charamut Cass (Michael) of Berlin and Charles Charamut (Damaris) of Crestview; her stepdaughter Debbie Mills of Brandenburg, Kentucky.; her grandchildren, William Charamut, Ryan Charamut (Danielle), Abigail Shaw (Kevin), Trevor Charamut, Sean Cass, Briana Cass (David Bradley), Riley and Sydney Hoops; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Rowan, Bode Charamut, Tatum, McKinley and Hudson Shaw; her siblings, Roger Casalengo of Alexandria and Pamela Pethigal (Tom) of Berlin; and her close friend Nancy Casalengo (Bonnie Ferrero) of Berlin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
