Angelo Capasso Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Angelo Capasso of Newington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guiseppe Capasso and Maria Capasso (Espostito); and his siblings, Frank, Antonio, Antonia and Rosa.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Capasso (Franzo); his children, Joseph Capasso and Diana Bazzano (Claudio); his grandsons, Frank Bazzano (Casey), Lucas Bazzano and Zachary Bazzano; his siblings, Salvatore Capasso (Diane), Ottavio Capasso (Pat), Mario Capasso (Lucy), Iolanda Disensi and Ida Torchia; his close friend Luigi; and his brother-in-law Sam Franzo (Josephine).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (10 Campfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114).
