Amelia Pina Gaspar Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amelia Pina Gaspar of Newington, Connecticut, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel C. Gaspar; her parents, Jose Pina and Adelina Rosa Pina; her siblings, Ilda DaCosta, Lidia Cabral (Gaspar) and Jose A. Pina (Maria C. Pina); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Gatewood, Ginesio Gaspar and Isabel Ricardo (Antonio).
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Gaspar (Mary), Mario Gaspar and Angela Pace (Chez); her grandchildren, Daniel Gaspar (Lilah), Jordan Gaspar, Chez-Christopher Pace (Jillian), Alexander Pace (Amanda) and Gabriella Gajowiak (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Julianna, Chez, Daniel Cassius and Luca; her siblings, Ariete Gatewood and Vitor Pina (Maria); her sister-in-law Maria Odete Gaspar; and her caregiver Catherine Christian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
