It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred G. Mecteau (Newington, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 3, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Elizabeth Mecteau (Kerr); his parent Elzear Mecteau; and his sisters, Marion and Evelyn. He is survived by: his parent Mary Louise Mecteau (DeChamplain); his wife Brian Mecteau of Bristol; his grandchildren, Kevin Quirion, Kelly Quirion, Joseph, Jr., Nicole Raulukaitis and Michael Mecteau; and also Barbara Mecteau of Bristol. He is also survived by his daughters and their spouses, Sue-Ann and Gary Quirion of Bristol and Lisa and Joseph Raulukaitis of Colchester, his son.
