He is survived by: his parent Teresa Gizzi (Viola); his spouse Roslyn Ann Guglielmetti; his son John Gizzi (Colleen); his sister Mary Zuella (Gizzi) of Waterbury; his nieces, Marsha Dube (Gizzi) of New Britain and Teresa Zuella of Waterbury; his nephew Richard J. Malvicini; and his great-nephews, Matthew and David Dube of New Britain.
