She was predeceased by: her father Francis J. Purcell Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Byers; her sons, Phenix, Reagan and Brendan Byers; her pet Gus; her mother Judith Purcell; and her sisters, Suzanne Purcell, Sheilah Purcell (Richard Dugdale) and Colleen Purcell (Stephen Busch). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (26 Chestnut Land Rd, New Milford, CT 06776).
Stacey served as a board member of Maegan's Warrior Foundation, an HLH awareness charity and volunteered to support the Teed Up For a Cure cancer foundation's annual golf fundraiser for 20 years.
