Roberts (New Milford, Connecticut), born in Amherst, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 96, on April 8, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pickering and Dorothy Pickering (Bugbee); her husband George C. Hibbard; and her brother Charles Newkirk. She is survived by: her children, William Hibbard (Carolyn) of Roxbury, CT and Jean Cashman of Woodland, ME; her stepchildren, Leslie Thurston (Alton) and Stanley Roberts (Linda) of New Milford, CT; and her siblings, Joan Pool of Belchertown, MA and Arthur Pickering of Amherst, MA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
