She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Fogarassy (Alajos) and Ludmilla Iren Incze; her brother Kalman Fogarassy; and her sister-in-law Mary Abruzzo-Fogarassy. She is survived by: her children, Ivan Matetic (Max J. Rodriguez) and Lisa Baitsell.
Her son lived with her in Connecticut once she moved, throughout the Covid pandemic, during her cancer treatments until her final passing.
