It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine M. Wedge (New Milford, Connecticut), born in Ridgefield, Connecticut, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Lorraine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lorraine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Wedge; and her parents, Arthur Pretty and Evelyn Pretty (Greene). She is survived by: her children, Stefanie Georg and Andrew Wedge (Dawn); her grandson Austin Wedge; and her siblings, Carol Kent of New Milford and James Pretty Sr..
