He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Legan and Carmela Legan (Santarsiero). He is survived by: his wife Ritva Legan (Laakkonen); his children, John Legan (Jessica) and Eliisa Antal (Steve); his grandchildren, Jenna, Jacob Legan, Dylan, Jackson and Evan Antal; and his siblings, Ann Senko (Joseph), Maureen Hulse (Al), Robert Legan (Rita), Edward Legan (Judy), William Legan (Salwa), Anthony Legan, Joseph Legan (Sally) and Michael Legan. He is also survived by 6 sisters in law; 4 brothers in law, 8 nephews, 12 nieces and 21 grandnieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
Contributions in John's memory may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
