He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; his parents, John and Mary; and his brothers, Jack and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, James Jr., Matthew and Sarah; his children-in-law, Colleen and Timothy; and his grandchildren, Molly, Cameron, Owen and Spencer. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Lakes Church (3 Old Town Park Rd, New Milford, CT 06776).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Society, 8 Dodd Road, New Milford, CT.
