He is survived by: his children, Sandra Mejia of New Milford, Richard Mejia of Florida, Eugenia and Carmen Mejia Lopez of Ecuador; his grandchildren, Shannon Chemero and Emily Mejia; and his brother Joseph Mejia of New York.
