She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wagenhofer and Rachel Wagenhofer (Mount); her husband Michael Nesbitt; and her brother Herman "Jack" Wagenhofer. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Strain of Sherman, Cathy Santise of New Jersey and Lorraine Nesbitt of Navada; and her brother Paul Wagenhofer of New York. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Family request that donations be made to an animal shelter with cats, as she had a love for them.

“Estelle was a lovely lady. I had the pleasure of knowing her because we shared a mutual friend in Peggy Cassidy, who lived next door to me in Rockaway. Estelle and I became good friends, and over the years I would always give her a call at holiday time. That's how I learned today that she had passed away in September. Some years ago I had to attend a wedding in Connecticut that was not too far away from her new home there. She graciously had me and my friends come to visit her after the wedding”
