It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Engstrom (New Milford, Connecticut), born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Mats Engstrom; and his grandfather Gunnar Engstrom. He is survived by: his mother Karen Engstrom (Bass); his brothers, Timothy Engstrom of Thomaston and Andrew Engstrom of New York; his niece Anabelle; his nephew Mateo; his grandparents, Dorothy, Kenneth Bass of Danbury and Inga Engstrom of Ridgefield; his aunts, Susan St. Hilaire of Danbury and Linda Bass of Danbury; his uncle Krister Engstrom of New York; and his cousins, Amber and Aaron St. Hilaire.

In recognition of his great love for "his boy Mork", memorial donations may be made to New Milford Animal Welfare Society or to the Congregational Church of New Fairfield.
